"Give a boy a fish and you'll feed him for a day, teach a boy to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime."
Welcome visitors! This website is about me and my son's fishing adventures. We travel around the world to test different waters - both fresh and saltwater. However, we prefer saltwater fishing due to high potential of a bigger catch.

Check out the links below. I've included some useful fishing links about baits, rigs, sinkers, floats, and hook recommendations. Plus, don't forget about the photo gallery - features some of the places we've fished. The bottom page also include a weekly blog and you can chime in at anytime and we'll try to answer your questions.

Father's Day!

This English weather have been derailing us from the coast to fish. As you all can see the last post I made was back in March and anybody that lives in my area can attest to this gloomy summer. 53 Degree Farenheit in Mid June is just not an ideal summer to anyone's standards. Tyler and I are hoping to make up fishing we've missed in the last couple months. I've been reading a UK fishing site http://www.east-anglia-sea-angling.co.uk/index.html for fishing info and concluded sharks are out and about this summer. We'll pack our fishing gear next weekend no matter what the weather is like and push our luck. However, Tyler and I hope that the fishing Gods are merciful enough to grant us our biggest catch for the summer.

Twice at Salthouse

We've fished at Salthouse twice already. Both times Tyler and I were unsuccessful only catching 2 small unidentified fish and 1 baby crab. The second time was with the whole family and caught 1 lousy Cod.

I think it's the squid we're using as bait. I'm thinking about changing venue and try out Weybourne next time, which is 15 miles along the same coastline.

Here are some things we've found at Salthouse:
- No restrooms
- Coffee truck is available
- Bait shop (lug worms) located before turning into beach lane.
- Lots of other fishermen, but not crowded
- Long stretches of beach on both sides
- Dogs are allowed
- Many people come to walk and watch the ocean

Catch a break!

Tyler and I can't catch a break with this weather, it either too cold or raining outdoors. All in good time, we are patiently waiting for a good weather then we are off to Salthouse. We've never been surf fishing the UK and anticipating the result. Again we shall see.

Finally got it!

We received the fishing gear in the mail today. If weather permits we'll be taking a trip to Salthouse this weekend. Now I have look for a bait shop in the area or I can get one of those lug worm pump to get my own bait. Check out this site..

Waiting for fishing gear!

I had my mother ship all my fishing gear from Maryland. Tyler and I can't wait to receive it so we can start fishing as early as this weekend. Maybe we'll cast a few at Cley and at the same time check out the town itself. We've been to Huntstanton (basically a tourist spot with a boardwalk) but what does the Cley coastline have in store for us?

UK Surf Fishing

Tyler and I can't wait to test the UK waters. Although I lost hope freshwater fishing in the UK due to absurd regulations, however, sea fishing seems to be a no holds bar - no fishing license required, minimal "no keep zone", and I think sea fishing is better. So, to start out 2011 we are heading to Salthouse, UK to fish. I've been reading good things about the area people catching sharks, flatties, and sea bass during the summer. We shall see!!
